SAMTECH s.a., the leading European Company for the development of Integrated CAE Solutions, today announces the launch of the version 4.3 of its optimization and task management platform BOSS quattro, recognized industrial software tool for parameterized analysis, stochastic analysis, design of experiments, optimization and updating of numerical models with experimental data.
With the new version BOSS quattro 4.3, SAMTECH allows significant costs reduction of design activities. It enables users to perform advanced optimization by selecting the appropriate method among a wide panel of proposed computation chains: parameterized analysis of numerical models, stochastic analysis, design of experiments, optimization (with gradient or genetic algorithms) and updating with experimental data.
BOSS quattro targets design and analysis activities of any customers from the whole industries dealing with optimization, parameterized analyses of numerical model (Aeronautic, Space, Defense, Ship Building, Energy, Car, Trucks, Railway, Sport industries...). This powerful tool allows engineers to target specifications, to perform parameter and model refinement, very early in the design process and from a open, object-oriented and interactive environment for multidisciplinary optimization.
BOSS quattro 4.3 gives again to SAMTECH the opportunity to demonstrate to the whole optimization community its high level of expertise in Scientific Software development. The main new capabilities of the version 4.3 of BOSS quattro are interpolation functions (RBF, KRIG, neurons networks), generalization of the database of design points, the “best point” optimization algorithm and the reading of nodal sensitivities functions of time calculated by SAMCEF Mecano, the non-linear module of SAMCEF.
Additionally, numerous standard functionalities have been improved in BOSS quattro 4.3, in the tasks management over the network, in the optimization algorithms but also in the graphical exploitation of results. A particular effort has been put on the link with various commercial FEA software (NASTRAN, ABAQUS, SAMCEF, ...).
BOSS quattro 4.3 is available on all major UNIX, LINUX platforms, WINDOWS NT4 SP6, 2000 and XP Pro. It uses FLEXLM as licenses manager.
